• In addition, BEE&YOU Propolis D3+K2 drops cover the daily requirement of vitamin D-3 (at least 800 IU) recommended by the German Society for Adult Nutrition in the winter months. It provides 1000 IU of vitamin D3 when taken daily (20 drops). It provides 18 mcg of vitamin K2 in daily intake (20 drops)

Effect of propolis

Propolis is a completely natural bee product that bees collect from the leaves, stems and buds of plants. The main role of propolis in the hive is to provide and maintain a clean environment. Propolis is very rich in phenols, flavonoids and polyphenols. When taken regularly, propolis works against viruses, bacteria and fungi and also has an anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting effect.

Effect of vitamin D3

• Vitamin D3 is involved in many metabolic processes in the human body. It has long been known that it promotes the absorption of calcium from the digestive tract and the hardening of bones.
• It also regulates calcium and phosphate metabolism and influences muscle strength. It is a fat-soluble micronutrient that is converted into vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) in our body. It is a vitamin needed for the absorption of calcium and phosphorus.

Effect of vitamin K2

• Vitamin K2 is relevant for the skeleton and bone structure of humans; it supports bone density and bone remodeling and reduces the risk of hip fractures. Vitamin K2, also called menaquinone, is a fat-soluble vitamin that is involved in protein metabolism.
• Researchers have reported that regular vitamin D3 supplementation causes high calcium levels and, consequently, vitamin K2 deficiency.
• Researchers strongly recommend K2 supplementation to prevent side effects such as atherosclerosis and osteoporosis (bone loss), while vitamin D3 supplementation is used to reduce the incidence of death due to infections. In this sense, including Anatolian propolis, which is a powerful antiviral and anti-inflammatory agent, as well as vitamins D3 and K2 in our diet will be an important step in strengthening our immunity.”
